About the Event

Mountaineers push their personal boundaries by attempting the 7 Summits - climbing the tallest peak on each of the Earth's 7 continents. Heart&Stroke 7 SummitsTM gives you the opportunity to push your boundaries and reach heights you never thought possible. By climbing the stairs of the 7 tallest office buildings in Toronto's downtown core in one morning you'll not only conquer Toronto's tallest towers, but you also give those who experience cardiac arrest a second chance at life through the vital funds that you raise.

Amazing prizes for top fundraisers, fastest to climb the 7 peaks and others will bring an element of friendly competition to the challenge.

Each of our towers represents one of the seven tallest peaks on the planet:

First Canadian Place 978 feet representing Mt. Everest
Scotia Plaza 902 feet representing Elbrus
TD Canada Trust Tower 856 feet representing McKinley/Denali
Commerce Court West 784 feet representing Kilimanjaro
TD Bank Tower 731 feet representing Aconcagua
Bay Wellington Tower 679 feet representing Vinson Massif
Royal Bank Plaza 590 feet representing Kosciuszko

How long will it take?

Participants take anywhere between 1 hour 30 mins and 3 hours to climb all 7 buildings. Heart&Stroke 7 SummitsTM is not a race and participants are encouraged to complete the challenge at the pace which is right for them.

How fit do I need to be to participate?

Participants should have a basic level of physical fitness to participate. Visit Get Fit to Climb for a suggested training program.

What if I need to rest along the way?

While climbers will be guided from building to building, breaks can be taken at any time during the challenge. There will be water and sports drinks at the top of each building and at the 2 major basecamps along the way.
